Description of the Project
Dr. Thomson, Director of Research at the Injury and ViolencePrevention Program (IVPP) at VCU, is accepting applications for oneresearch-focused post-doctoral fellowship. The candidate will be involvedin ongoing research activities on the topics of violence prevention anddevelopmental psychopathology (a focus on personality and externalizingdisorders). The candidate should have a strong interest in pursuing independentresearch within these areas or closely related. Typical Duties
The candidate will be responsible for conducting day-to-dayresearch and scholarly activities. This will include manuscript and grantpreparation, as well as participant recruitment, conducting baseline andfollow-up assessments, data entry, database development, analyzing data,literature reviews, IRB protocol compliance and maintenance, and disseminatingresearch at local and national conferences.
