Description

Hiring Range: LCSW-A Minimum $25.44/hour (commensurate with experience) LCSW or LMHC-Minimum $33.45/hour (commensurate with experience)

Hours: Full and part-time positions available based on experience, skills and interest (20-40 hours per week)

CHA is hiring experienced psychotherapists who would like to work in schools, the community or office based settings with adolescents and their families.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Establish therapeutic relationships and provide clinical therapy according to professional standards of practice
  • Complete intake evaluations and comprehensive clinical assessments as indicated by clinical setting and client needs
  • Provide client education, referral, and follow-up services based on identified needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation according to clinical practice standards throughout course of treatment/service engagement
  • Participate in and/or facilitate group sessions aligned with client needs and program goals
  • Coordinate service planning with internal and external providers based on client needs
  • Coordinate with schools, providers, and community partners as required

Education/Experience: Master's in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling

License: LCSW or LMHC (if past experience is as a school social worker or in the area of substance use or adolescent services prior to licensure then an associate license social worker is eligible)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of social, economic and emotional needs
  • Knowledge of child and adolescent development
  • Knowledge of common childhood mental health diagnoses
