As a Psychotherapist working with patients recovering from traumatic injuries-such as strokes or amputations-you'll play a key role in helping them and their families navigate life after significant change. This is a rehabilitation psychology focused position on the acute inpatient rehabilitation unit. Your focus will be assessment and treatment of grief, mood, and cognitive functioning of patients following significant neurological and/or functional change. Schedule: This is a casual role, or PRN/as-needed. Hours of operation are generally Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm. Monthly Saturday rotation required.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Training will be provided; specific experience in rehabilitation psychology or a hospital setting is not required.
