Job Summary: We areseekinga detail-oriented and service-drivenPatient Access Services Lead / Financial Counselorto support and lead the daily operations of Patient Access Services. This roleis responsible foroverseeing registration processes, up-front and point-of-service (POS) collections, cash handling, and financial counseling. The Lead will serve as a key resource for staff and patients, ensuring efficient workflows, excellent customer service, andaccuratedata collection. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support daily front-line operations of Patient Access Services. Conduct professional patient interviews to obtain demographic, financial, and biographical information. Accurately and efficiently process patient registrations. Oversee andparticipatein cash collections, up-front payments, and POS transactions. Provide financial counseling to patientsregardinginsurance, coverage, and payment options. Work closely with the Patient Access Manager to ensure effective departmental performance and compliance with policies and procedures. Promote a culture of quality, service excellence, and patient-centered care. Education: High school diploma or GEDrequired. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of customer service experiencerequired. Prefer at least 2 years of clerical experience withproficiencyin Microsoft Windows. Other Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must complete the required Patient Access Services training and pass the competency exam with a score of 90% or higher. Strong computer and data entry skills. Ability to multitask, think critically, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
