Part-time Assistant Varsity Swim Coach
 
Berkeley Preparatory School's Athletic Department is seeking an Assistant Coach for our Varsity swim team. The ideal candidate will have swim coaching experience and a strong knowledge of the sport.
 
Position Responsibilities:
  • Provide constructive feedback to athletes
  • Instruct swimmers at all levels, from beginner to advanced
  • Maintain consistent, attentive supervision of student-athletes
  • Stay current on sport rules and guidelines
  • Complete all required courses and certifications
  • Model excellent sportsmanship
  • Communicate and collaborate closely with the swim and dive coaching staff
  • Help foster a positive team culture for all student-athletes
 
Commitment:
Coaches must attend practices and athletic contest for the duration of the season.
  • Practices: Monday–Friday, approximately 3:30–6:00 PM
  • Meets: Days and times vary, and may include Saturdays
  • Season: Early August through mid-November, or the completion of post-season competition
 
Compensation: 
A stipend is offered for this part-time, seasonal position.
