Job Summary
Job Purpose Statements The job of School Bus Driver is done for the purposes of transporting students over scheduled routes and/or special excursions, enforcing rules, regulations, and laws to maintain safety during transport, ensuring vehicle is in a safe operating condition, and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading, and unloading from buses.
Requirements Qualifications Valid Class B CDL with P/S Endorsement Valid Medical Certificate California Special Driver Certificate preferred Valid First Aid Card Tuberculosis Screening Drug/Alcohol Testing Clearance Tuberculosis Screening Must meet the requirements to evacuate students from school bus and perform duties as a bus driver. Also being responsible for providing an attractive, safe, and sanitary environment in which students, staff, and public can learn, and to further enhance a positive presentation of assigned areas.
