Job Summary
Ellis Home & Garden in Beaumont, TX is now accepting applications for Cashiers/Sales Associate position. These positions will help operate our store on a day-to-day basis. Ellis Home & Garden is a family-owned and operated business that offers flexible scheduling, a family-oriented atmosphere, and a great working environment.


Responsibilities and Duties
Cashiers will be the face of the company and usually the first person that our customers see when they come to our store. Cashiers are responsible for greeting customers, processing transactions accurately, answering phone calls, and any other assigned duties. The Sales Associate will be responsible for helping customers on our sales floor, stocking & pricing merchandise, along with other assigned duties. 


Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Some college preferred
• Lifting 50+/- pounds periodically
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions periodically
• Computer proficiency required
• Retail point of sale experience preferred
• Cash handling experience 
• Plant knowledge preferred, but not required (we will train you!)
• Must be available Nights & Weekends
• Must be 18 years of age

Pay starting $12.00 per hour
