General Function
The Admissions Specialist is responsible for the admissions processing of the College. Performs a variety of tasks related to enrollment advising students into CCR programs and supporting them through the admission process for the various programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Day-to-day tasks may include meeting potential students, enrolling them into the CRM.
Meets with prospective students to provide information and guidance to assist in their transition to a college environment via email, phone, face to face and virtually.
Reviews student's intake forms and refers prospective students to placement testing if necessary. Assists students in CCR intake process.
Input, update, and review student information into database and other spreadsheets.
Explains policies, procedures, and program requirements and assists students in selecting educational and career goals.
Advises and assists students in planning and selecting courses that meet program requirements, educational and career goals.
Collaborates and communicates with CPCC Testing Center, CCR Advising team and CCR coordinators.
Creates, maintains, and updates the program LEIS form.
Stays abreast of all program application requirements and revisions, sends out admission notifications
Sends electronic notifications and updates to prospective students.
Performs other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED with related experience.
