POSITION: Part-time Education Instructor
LOCATION: Devils Lake, ND (on-campus and online)
WHO MAY BE CONSIDERED: Must be eligible to work in the United States. There is no sponsorship for this position.
TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Part-time, non-benefitted.
BACKGROUND CHECK: LRSC does require a successful background check for the selected candidate prior to beginning employment.
JOB SUMMARY: Opportunity to instruct 3 credits per semester (fall and spring) of EDUC 250: Introduction to Education. Applicant must be able to instruct both the online and on-campus section of this course.
Minimum Requirements:
Master's degree in Education or closely related field, or Master's degree in another field with 18 graduate credits in Education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups
Experience working within an online learning environment
Highly-motivated and self-directed
Preferred Qualifications:
Documented successful teaching skills
Experience with Microsoft Suite and Blackboard Learning Management System
Experience with the North Dakota University System
SALARY: Per LRSC scale: LRSC Policy 400.35
