Position Description
DEFINITION:
To provide classroom instruction to student inmates at New Hanover Correctional Center through lecture, demonstration, laboratory exercises, handouts, responding to questions, and testing. Provide instruction in all 5 areas of the HiSET exam, including language arts, writing, social studies, math and science. Must be familiar with Adult Basic Education curriculum and be able to keep accurate records.
