Part-time Middle Division Volleyball Head Coach (Grades 6-8)
 
Berkeley Preparatory School's Athletic Department is seeking a Head Coach for our Middle Division (6th–8th grade) volleyball team. The ideal candidate will have volleyball coaching experience and a strong knowledge of the sport.
 
Position Responsibilities:
  • Prepare daily practice plans
  • Provide constructive feedback to athletes
  • Teach fundamental volleyball skills
  • Maintain consistent, attentive supervision of student-athletes
  • Stay current on sport rules and guidelines
  • Complete all required courses and certifications
  • Model excellent sportsmanship
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with student-athletes and their families
  • Collaborate with other volleyball coaches
  • Foster a positive, inclusive team culture
 
Commitment:
Coaches must attend every practice and athletic contest for the duration of the season.
  • Practices: Monday–Friday, approximately 3:30–6:00 PM
  • Games: Days and times vary
  • Season: August 25 (first day of school) through mid-October
 
Compensation: 
A stipend is offered for this part-time, seasonal position.
