Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced PT - Outpatient for a 13-week travel assignment in Mattoon, IL.
Contract Details
- Days 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8; 40 Hour Guarantee
- Start Date: 8/3/2026
- Contract: 13 Weeks
- Location: Mattoon, IL
- Hourly Pay: $ 31.50
- Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00
- Weekly Total Pay: $ 2191.00

- Nonbillable Hours: 16 hours
- Traveler Policy: Applicants within 50 miles of facility are not eligible. Applicants who were direct employees within the last 2 years are not eligible. Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction)
Physical Therapists plan and execute rehabilitation programs to help patients return to a higher level of physical function. Physical Therapists utilize a variety of skills, including, but not limited to, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, physical modalities, gait training, and manual techniques. Our therapists demonstrate effective communication and strong interpersonal skills to motivate patients and provide compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply knowledge of anatomy, exercise physiology, biomechanics, kinesiology, neuroscience, and pharmacology.
- Assist other facility staff members as needed to provide care and create a clean, orderly and effective environment for rehabilitation and physical therapy.
- Develop a plan for patients following completion of their Plan of Care with an appropriate home exercise program and discharge instructions.
- Develop a Plan of Care for each patient based on initial and ongoing evaluations, including short and long-term goals, collaboration demands of other staff members, and required patient and caregiver involvement.
- Document patient progress according to approved medical documentation and facility documentation procedures.
- Evaluate mobility, strength and current level of patient function, while setting goals to improve in these areas that are scaled to patient abilities and realistically attainable.
- Implement the Plan of Care on a consistent schedule and adjust this schedule and plan according to patient progress.
- Maintain open lines of effective communication between therapy staff, department staff and referral sources involved in the care of the patient.
- Maintain patient records, ensuring that Certifications and Authorizations are in compliance with third party payer requirements.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications, etc.
- Perform initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations according to APTA standards of practice as well as state standards.
- Strong experience administering a wide range of physical therapy techniques.
- Supervise physical therapy assistants as indicated in a professional and consistent manner.
Compensation:
- Weekly Pay (hourly) + Non-taxed Stipend (if eligible)

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have 1+ years of PT Experience
- Must have outpatient Experience
- Must have Active Illinois/IL Physical Therapist License
- Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
