- Pay Package: $80/hr for local candidates within 50 miles of facility and $90/hr for travel candidates 50 miles or more from facility

What You’ll Do
- Provide diagnostic assessments and prescribe pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments for mental health conditions
- Synthesize patient data to formulate clinical decisions and treatment plans
- Educate patients on medication management and monitor lab work
- Order, review, and interpret lab reports
- Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and medication records accurately and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community agencies to coordinate care
- Serve as a resource and consultant for staff and external providers
- Ensure compliance with professional standards, policies, and regulations
What You Need
Required:- Licensure as a registered nurse and licensed as an advanced registered nurse practitioner in Iowa
- Certification as a clinical specialist/NP by ANCC or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of related clinical experience
- Knowledge of psychotropic medications, mental health assessment, and managed care concepts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Knowledge of involuntary hospitalization laws and trauma-informed care practices
