    Position Summary:

    The Temple Partnership Schools Network (TPSN) at the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) advances educational equity and community well-being by supporting cradle-to-career pathways through long-term, place-based partnerships grounded in a collective impact framework. We bring together schools, families, community partners and Temple University to co-create the conditions that support development, learning and opportunity-and to generate knowledge that improves practice, informs policy and drives systems change.

    The part-time, TPSN University-Based Liaison serves as a critical link between a partnership school and the College of Education and Human Development. This person will provide a regular CEHD presence within the school, fostering daily trust-building, instructional collaboration, and two-way learning. They will explore opportunities for collaboration and support the coordination of CEHD and university resources that will benefit the school and its educators, students, families, and community members. Position requires background clearances for working with minors: PA State Police, PA Child Abuse, FBI Background Check TB test.

    Education and Experience:

    Bachelor's degree 3 years' experience working in urban educational settings.

    Preferred:
    • 5 years preferred years' experience working in urban educational settings.
    • Experience as a PK-12 classroom teacher in an urban setting
    • Experience managing, leading, and/or providing professional development to adults
    • Experience as a faculty or staff member in a higher education setting

    Required Skills and Abilities:
    • Interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with creative and positive energy for working collaboratively with students and educators.
    • Ability to work collaboratively

    This position does require a background check and PA Child Abuse Clearances.
