- Responsible for helping individuals maintain, restore, and improve movement, activity, and function, thereby enabling optimal performance and enhancing health, well -being, and quality of life. Physical therapy is provided under a physician approved plan of care and directed and supervised by a Physical Therapist<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Provides physical therapy services and interventions under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist and in accordance with the physician approved plan of care. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Provides documentation of each visit according to Documentation Guidelines and accepted regulatory standards for inclusion in the patient’s clinical record. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Observes, records, and reports the patient’s response to treatment and any change in the patient’s condition to the supervising PT, physician, and other appropriate clinical staff. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Provides resources for future needs and promotes wellness and prevention. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/li> - Supervised by the Physical Therapist in accordance with applicable municipal, state, and federal rules and regulations. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3><\/span><\/div>
- Current and valid license in the state of Virginia<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - One or more year of home care experience (preferred)<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li> - Current CPR certification<\/span><\/span><\/span>
