D&G is seeking a Early Career Public Relations Manager to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Stakeholder Engagement Division (SED). CISA leads national efforts to enhance security and resilience of the Nation’s critical infrastructure. Within CISA, the SED Sector Risk Management (SM) Sub-Division executes Sector Risk Management Agency (SRMA) responsibilities for CISA-led sectors and supports CISA’s role as a National Coordinator for critical infrastructure and resilience. This position will develop and coordinate clear, timely communication and outreach products for council, advisory, and stakeholder-engagement activities.

What You Will Do

• Supports the development and execution of communications and public relations activities that promote consistent, accurate, and timely messaging. The role assists with drafting and reviewing communications materials, coordinating stakeholder outreach, monitoring communication activities, and supporting responses to internal and external information requests.
• Draft emails, memos, public messaging, executive communications, social media content, outreach materials, and meeting-related communications.
• Support stakeholder outreach, participation requests, registration, scheduling, logistics, and follow-up documentation.
• Tailor content for leadership, council members, sector stakeholders, and public-facing audiences while maintaining consistent tone and message.
• Coordinate reviews, edits, clearances, and distribution using Government-approved workflows and systems.
• Maintain communication, inquiry, outreach, participation, and document-production records.
• Review products for accuracy, clarity, formatting, accessibility, and alignment with CISA/DHS objectives.

What We Are Looking For

Required

• BS/BA Degree
• 1+ years’ experience

Preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills including drafting, editing, and proofreading professional communications.
• Ability to develop public affairs, stakeholders, and internal communications materials for a wide variety of audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and support professional graphics, visual communications, presentations, infographics, and other digital content that effectively communicate complex information while maintaining organizational branding and visual standards.
• Strong research and information synthesis skills with the ability to translate complete or technical information into clear, concise messaging.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and time-sensitive assignments, in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint.

• DHS Suitability.
• Must be a U.S. person(s) (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Location

• Hybrid with onsite requirement in Arlington, VA.
