Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Maintenance:

  • Clean and sanitize public restrooms, including replenishing supplies.
  • Vacuum and mop floors in lobbies, corridors, and other public areas.
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and decorative items.
  • Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors.
  • Empty trash bins and replace liners.
  • Clean and maintain elevators and stairways.

Guest Service:

  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries.
  • Report any guest complaints or issues to the supervisor.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to safety standards.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Inventory and Supplies:

  • Monitor and maintain an adequate inventory of cleaning supplies.
  • Replenish supplies in public restrooms and other areas as needed.
  • Notify the supervisor of any supply shortages.

Teamwork and Communication:

  • Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Assist with special projects or tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Working Conditions:

  • The position requires standing, walking, and moving for extended periods.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and various cleaning equipment.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent guest interaction.
