Life as a Public Area Attendant:

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Lobby Attendant to help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for our guests. The Lobby Attendant plays an important role in creating exceptional first impressions by ensuring all public areas are spotless, well-stocked, and guest-ready throughout the day.

  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
  • Review the assigned area and complete general removal of any trash.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of closets; remove trash, wipe down shelves/counters; sweep and wax floor; remove non-floor closet items and transport to proper storage areas.
  • Remove all dust, debris, and foreign particles from upholstered furniture, including crevices and under cushions.
  • Review assignment sheet and update completed assignments. Check with the Supervisor and Housekeeping office for additional assignments throughout the shift.

What we're looking for:

  • Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal
  • Knowledge of proper chemical handling
  • Previous experience in cleaning public buildings
  • High school graduate or equivalent vocational training
  • Experience in hospitality industry in similar position
  • Previous guest relations training

Qualifications:

  • Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing stairs.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.
