The Public Health Intern will be working in our Maternal Infant Vitality Initiative program, assisting with performing programmatic activities, conducting special projects, and providing outreach to pregnant women in the community. This role will be responsible with supporting various services under the Maternal Infant Vitality Initative program, which focuses on improving access to care, supporting health pregnancies, promoting safe infant care practices, and addressing factors that contribute to differences in birth outcomes among communities. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct research on relevant topics.Assist with the planning, development, and implementation of local programs and community activities.Provide support on special projects and administrative tasks as assigned by program staff.Perform accurate data entry to maintain and update program records.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Pursuit of a bachelor's or graduate degree in Public Health or a related field, or be a recent graduate seeking practical experience in the field.Valid Ohio driver's license, liability insurance, and automobile availability.Summit County Public Health (SCPH) is committed to fostering, cultivating and preserving a culture of diversity and inclusion.
