This position collaborates with Central Office and Regional leadership, and the Office of Communications to ensure consistent, accurate, and engaging messaging while addressing the unique needs of local communities. This position will work with an advertising firm to create and design a marketing campaign. The ideal candidate is a creative communicator with strong organizational skills and experience in marketing, digital communications, and community outreach. This is a contract position that will report to Community Health Services (CHS), based out of Nashville, and will support 7 regions and 89 counties across the state of Tennessee.Job Responsibilities:Facilitate workgroups with state and regional leadership to develop and implement regional and local marketing strategy plans aligned with CHS Strategic PlanCreate marketing content requests by coordinating submissions to the Office of Communications within established timelinesDevelop, update, and maintain regional and local webpages that incorporate standardized organizational content while highlighting location specific information, programs, services, and eventsDesign, coordinate, and obtain appropriate approvals for printed or digital marketing and educational materials in accordance with organizational branding and communication standardsCollaborate with Health Promotion Coordinators to create culturally relevant outreach and educational materials that address public health misinformation, build community trust, and improve awareness of heath department servicesEnsure all communications are consistent with organizational branding, messaging, and accessibility standardsFoster effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support community engagement and public health outreach effortsMonitor communication initiatives and recommend improvements to increase community engagement and the effectiveness of outreach campaigns
