The Public Health Program Representative PHPR plays a vital role in supporting the planning coordination and implementation of HIVSTI prevention initiatives for the City of St. Louis Department of Health. This includes management of the Condom Distribution Program CDP HIVSTI testing community outreach and health education activities. The PHPR ensures equitable access to prevention tools supports data collection and reporting and promotes sexual health across the community.
Responsibilities include expanding and maintaining condom distribution sites managing supply and inventory tracking and reporting data conducting testing and education and serving as a liaison with partners and stakeholders. The position requires strong organizational communication and data management skills as well as a commitment to health equity.
Requirements
A Bachelors degree in Public Health, Community Health Education, Behavioral-Social Sciences, Social Services, or a related medical-behavioral science field plus some experience in community outreach with HIV/AIDS STIs and public health practices.
