Description

The Springfield-Greene County Health Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Public Health Program Representative to support the employees that work for the City of Springfield!

Below is the focus of this position and activities you would be working on:

Program - InBalance - employee wellness program for the City of Springfield.

  • Focus - work with the InBalance program to develop and implement approaches that will support employee mental health and overall well being.

  • Activities - Improving education and training available to employees/ strengthening awareness and use of existing resources/ establishing additional resources.

Qualifications and Requirements

Experience, Education, and Training

  • Requires graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences, Public Administration, Social Services, Health Services, Behavioral Sciences or a related area;

AND

  • Two years of professional or technical experience in public health;
  • A Masters Degree in a discipline indicated above may be substituted for one year of the required experience;
  • Some assignments may require previous supervisory experience;
  • Some assignments may require significant data management and analysis work experience;
  • Experience needs to be commensurate with the current vacancy.

Licensing/Certification
