Candidates are responsible for the Countys website and social media accounts, overseeing and coordinating public information programs
This candidate will act as the Countys spokesperson and is the liaison between the County and the media, coordinating responses to media inquiries and efforts
Minimum Requirements:
Graduation from a four (4) year college with a degree with course work in communications, journalism, public administration, public relations, or related field
Considerable experience in communications, journalism, public relations, public administration, emergency management or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with community groups, federal, state, regional, and County officials, along with the general public
