Duties Description The NYS Department of Labor is seeking a creative and dynamic Public Information Specialist 1 (Digital Content) to join our Marketing team. This role is key in shaping how we connect with the diverse communities we serve.
In this position on the Marketing team, you will craft compelling narratives that inform, inspire, and empower. Youll transform complex information into accessible and engaging content for our newsletters, video productions, and digital communications. Your words will be the bridge between the Department of Labors essential services and the New Yorkers who need them. Duties of the Public Information Specialist 1 (Digital Content) include, but may not be limited to:
Minimum Qualifications Non-Competitive Minimum Qualifications:
Six (6) years of experience* in public relations, social media, and digital communications.

Additional Comments Candidates with no previous state service will begin at the starting rate of the salary range listed above.
