As their public sector backlog continues to grow, they are looking to add an experienced Project Manager to oversee K-12 and municipal construction projects throughout the Chicagoland area.Glimpse of your role:Manage multiple public and K-12 construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.Lead subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and buyout processes.Coordinate closely with owners, architects, engineers, school districts, and public agencies.Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.Monitor project financial performance, identifying and mitigating cost risks.Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Mentor Project Engineers and collaborate with field leadership to drive successful project execution.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
