Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Public Policy Analyst to join our remote team. The successful candidate will conduct policy research, analyze legislative and regulatory developments, evaluate public programs, and provide strategic recommendations that support evidence-based decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent written communication, and the ability to interpret complex policy issues across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on public policy, legislation, regulations, and government initiatives.

  • Monitor political, economic, and regulatory developments at the local, national, and international levels.

  • Analyze the potential impact of public policies on businesses, government agencies, and stakeholders.

  • Prepare policy briefs, research reports, white papers, presentations, and executive summaries.

  • Collect, interpret, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to support policy recommendations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including economists, project managers, data analysts, and subject matter experts.

  • Engage with government publications, think tanks, academic research, and industry reports.

  • Identify policy risks, emerging trends, and opportunities that may affect clients.

  • Present research findings and strategic recommendations to internal teams and clients.

  • Support consulting projects related to governance, economic development, regulatory compliance, and public sector transformation.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Public Administration, Economics, International Relations, Law, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in public policy analysis, government affairs, policy research, consulting, or a related role.

  • Strong knowledge of legislative and regulatory processes.

  • Excellent analytical, research, and critical thinking skills.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience preparing policy reports, briefing documents, or research publications.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
