We are hiring a Public Relations Manager to join Gen’s Trust Services business within the Global Marketing, Brand and Communications organization. The role primarily supports LifeLock, the leading identity theft protection brand in the U.S., while also contributing to the broader consumer portfolio, including MoneyLion and Reputation Defender. In this high-impact individual contributor role, you will own LifeLock communications end to end, drive rapid response and newsjacking opportunities across brands, and help bring influencer partnerships to life. This is an opportunity to shape visibility, trust, and relevance for one of Gen’s most recognized consumer brands.
Own and execute the LifeLock PR strategy across product launches, partnerships, seasonal moments such as tax season, and broader thought-leadership opportunities.
Drive rapid response and newsjacking opportunities across Gen’s consumer brands, including Norton, LifeLock, Avast, and MoneyLion.
Translate research, product insights, and consumer trends into compelling media storylines, press materials, campaigns, and executive thought leadership.
Build strong media relationships and secure high-impact coverage across consumer, lifestyle, tech, and personal finance outlets.
Lead proactive outreach and storytelling that strengthens LifeLock’s trust, relevance, and consideration.
Prepare spokespeople and senior leaders for interviews, speaking engagements, and bylined content.
Collaborate cross-functionally across marketing, product, research, brand, social, legal, and other teams on integrated campaigns.
Support influencer initiatives, align creator opportunities with brand priorities, and coordinate with agencies and external stakeholders.
Define success metrics, track performance, and report on coverage quality, share of voice, sentiment, and campaign impact.
7–10+ years of PR and communications experience.
Proven success leading end-to-end PR programs from strategy through execution, measurement, and reporting.
Strong media relations background with a track record of securing quality coverage.
Ability to translate complex identity, security, and financial wellness topics into clear, compelling stories for mainstream audiences.
Experience with rapid response, issues or crisis communications, executive communications, and agency management.
Strong writing, storytelling, strategic planning, and judgment in fast-moving situations.
Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, product, research, brand, social, and legal teams.
Comfort using AI-powered tools and operating in a visible, hands-on individual contributor role.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is expected to be between 130K - 150K USD In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus. Base salary is one component of Gen's total compensation package, which includes 401(k) match, health insurance options, disability coverage, life insurance, and unlimited paid time off. Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies related to the role.
