The Robotaxi Products and Engineering team is at the center of design and operational excellence of autonomous vehicles. From the launch of Robotaxi on MY in 2025 to the revolutionary Cybercab product coming this year, team Robotaxi is at the cutting edge of AV technology. Safety of our Autonomous Vehicles is the foundation of our product design and operational protocol. In this position you will take lead in promoting, training, and engaging with critical external partners. You will play a key role in unlocking the scale of our autonomous fleet through these interactions. Building partnerships and trust with local administrators, first responders, and other critical groups. Our mission is to revolutionize roadway safety with our autonomy products, and you will have a key part in bringing that mission to reality.

  • Research and identify key stakeholders within geographic regions associated with the product expansion and setup required engagements with cross-functional teams
  • Engage with first responder agencies (fire, police, EMS) building training protocols, communication channels, and mutual understanding of autonomous vehicle operations
  • Support partnerships with local officials and community stakeholders to support Robotaxi market entry and expansion
  • Provide a feedback loop that links back to vehicle design, software development, and operations protocols from First Responders or City, State or Federal officials. Driving continuous product improvements
  • Investigate field safety critical events involving Robotaxi, either field investigations or remote investigations depending on the need
  • Collect, analyze, and present vehicle data from multiple sources, such as Diagnostic CAN logs, EDR, Telematics and video
  • Support progress in streamlining field safety data coming in from Robotaxi operation
  • Robust understanding and experience with autonomous vehicles, mobility, logistics, e-commerce, or transportation industries. Previous experience with other AV operations is preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in Federal, State or Local Law Enforcement or Fire Rescue and EMS
  • Technical background, degree in business, technology, computer science is a plus
  • Experience in Traffic Collision Investigation is preferred
  • Traffic Collision Reconstruction and EDR analysis experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of SAE J3016, SAE-ITC AVSC documents, CRSS, CISS and FARS data
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to deliver critical, time sensitive information in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience interacting and developing safety protocols, policies and procedures with first responders
  • 60-70% Travel expected with product scaling

Expected Compensation

$96,000 - $174,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
