About the Job

Looking for a summer job that plays an important role in keeping the park safe and running smoothly? As a Public Safety Dispatcher at Enchanted Parks, you'll help ensure effective communication and response across the park. This role focuses on receiving calls for service, extracting vital information, dispatching appropriate personnel, and accurately recording all activities in a computer-aided dispatch (CAD) system.

This role is a great fit for responsible young adults who are observant, professional, and comfortable interacting with guests in a fast‑paced setting.

What You'll Do

• Answer incoming phone calls and extract vital information from the caller. These calls may include needs for onsite security, safety, and EMS.
• Dispatch appropriate personnel based off of unit's locations and call type.
• Monitor radio traffic on multiple channels and record pertinent information to input into a CAD system.
• Monitor fire and security alarm systems, as well as surveillance cameras.
• Communications with outside emergency response agencies as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Public Safety Leadership

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Demonstrate excellent oral communication skills, including speaking clearly and distinctly
• Able to simultaneously handle multiple tasks in an efficient manner
• Good organizational and follow through skills
• Ability to remain calm under stressful situations
• Computer experience, including Office 365, and typing efficiently
• Preferred: Experience as a public safety dispatcher, and/or knowledge of Six Flags St. Louis
• Must be professional, self-motivated, and have an enthusiastic attitude
• Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to work with others

Other Duties

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support Public Safety operations and overall park success.
