The VISTA will work with Pueblos' Community Coordinator to strengthen housing-focused community engagement. Responsibilities include coordinating monthly housing Asambleas at partner organizations; conducting outreach, recruitment, registration, logistics, follow-up, and documentation; recruiting and developing tenant leaders; creating bilingual renters' rights materials and resource toolkits; planning housing workshops and leadership activities; building partnerships with churches, community organizations, and tenant leaders; conducting outreach by phone, WhatsApp, social media, and in person; tracking participation and feedback; and developing sustainable outreach, volunteer, and documentation systems for long-term use. The VISTA will focus on building organizational capacity by creating reusable tools, outreach systems, educational resources, and leadership development processes that strengthen Pueblos' long-term ability to educate, engage, and organize immigrant renters.
