Responsibilities Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, MN is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Physician, with Critical Care training to join an established and collegial department. You may expect a busy practice in a physician-led organization, committed to both high quality patient care and patient satisfaction.

Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine: Outpatient and inpatient responsibilities. Outpatient pulmonary medicine and sleep schedule includes Monday - Friday, day hours. Inpatient pulmonary on call coverage at a newly renovated level III trauma center. The Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine practice provides consults and management for a wide variety of pulmonary and sleep related disorders.

Pulmonary specific responsibilities include pulmonary test interpretations, clinic and hospital-based consults, pulmonary procedures (including bronchoscopy and pleural based interventions). Sleep specific responsibilities include polysomnogram interpretation, management of sleep behavior disorders, parasomnias, insomnia and restless legs.

Critical Care: Critical Care Medicine responsibilities include primary management of critically ill medical and surgical patients in a busy 15 bed ICU. Education opportunities are also available with rotating Family Medicine Residents.

License or Certification: Pulmonary credentials required. Strong preference for Sleep Medicine training. Flexibility in time allocation across patient care practices will be considered depending on interest and skill sets. Qualifications Qualifications: Board eligible or board certified in Pulmonary Medicine, Sleep Medicine and Care Medicine.

Compensation Detail The minimum starting salary for medical specialties may range from $202,000 to $663,037. This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties. Pay for the selected candidate will vary based on specialty, experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.
