Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
The well-established Pulmonary Division at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our collaborative pulmonary care team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an APP seeking a diverse pulmonary medicine practice that combines inpatient consultation, outpatient care, and procedural experience. Working closely with two experienced pulmonary physicians, the APP will care for a broad range of pulmonary conditions while enjoying a highly desirable weekday schedule with no weekends, evenings, or major holidays.
Position Summary
The APP will practice in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing comprehensive pulmonary care in collaboration with our physicians while also developing opportunities for independent practice. Dedicated pulmonary-specific education and training will be provided before transitioning to independent patient management.
Inpatient Pulmonary Care
Working alongside the attending physician on the pulmonary consultation service at our community hospital, the APP will:
Outpatient Pulmonary Care
Our outpatient pulmonary clinic is conveniently located within MedStar Montgomery Medical Center. The APP will work primarily alongside the attending physician while also seeing patients independently.
