This opportunity puts you at the forefront of an exciting growth initiative: partnering with skilled CT Surgeons to build a dedicated lung nodule and thoracic surgery program. You'll practice in a collaborative, patient-focused environment backed by a strong referral base and access to state-of-the-art facilities.     Position Highlights

    • Pulmonology opportunity with a well-established, growing multispecialty group
    • Elective-based outpatient program - no unplanned, urgent call load
    • Clinic hours Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
    • Weekend practice call rotation
    • Practice mix: 60% clinic / 40% OR and Endoscopy
    • Collaborative role alongside CT Surgeons to develop a lung nodule and thoracic surgery program
    • Access to Carondelet's full hospital network, including St. Joseph's Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital

    Candidate Requirements

    • MD or DO degree
    • Board certified or board eligible in Pulmonary Medicine
    • Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
    • Advanced bronchoscopy training preferred; robotic training with ION a plus
    • Strong clinical and communication skills
    • Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care

    Organization Description

    Established in 1961, St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson is home to the Carondelet Neurological Institute and the Carondelet Joint Replacement Center. The hospital offers advanced care that includes a Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center and spacious and comfortable labor and delivery units.
