Description:

:

Performs pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis on adult, pediatric and neonatal patients utilizing patient cooperation and diagnostic equipment.

Work Hours/Shift:

  • Full time 32hrs on dayshift

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Exceptional Patient Care: Assesses patient and ordered diagnostic services to ensure for adequate ability of patient to be tested.

  • Excellent Communicator: Ensures that all quality standards have been performed and are acceptable prior to patient testing.

  • Strong Educator: Prepares reports in an accurate and timely manner

  • Technical Familiarity:Performs normal equipment maintenance procedures and maintains laboratory area as a clean and safe environment, disinfecting and/or sterilizing all equipment prior to patient interface.

Requirements

  • Education:Associate in Science Degree, Respiratory Care.

  • Experience:Two to three years experience in respiratory care.

  • Licensure: Certified respiratory technician or certified pulmonary technologist.
