About the Opportunity
The University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UM BWMC), part of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pulmonologist to join a growing, well-established pulmonary program in Glen Burnie, Maryland.
This is an excellent opportunity to practice high-quality pulmonary medicine in a collaborative community hospital environment while maintaining strong academic affiliation and access to tertiary and subspecialty resources through UMMS.
Position Overview
The Pulmonologist will join a multidisciplinary, collegial team supported by experienced advanced practice providers and nursing staff. The role offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient pulmonary medicine, with flexibility to develop areas of clinical interest.

Compensation & Incentives
- Base salary: $250,000 – $300,000
- wRVU-based productivity incentives
- Sign-on bonus available

Qualifications
Required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine
- Eligible for or active Maryland medical license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
Preferred
- Open to both new graduates and experienced physicians
- Team-oriented with strong communication and collaboration skills
- Interest in contributing to a growing pulmonary program
