Job Opportunity

  • Seeking current students or graduates from the Industrial Maintenance Program!

Responsibilities of the Pump Mechanic Apprentice

  • Assist Mechanics in tear-down, inspection, and repair of pumps/rotating equipment
  • General shop duties
  • Assist with upkeep of shop equipment
  • Work OT as needed
  • Make deliveries and pick-ups
  • Clean parts as needed

Qualifications of the Pump Mechanic Apprentice

  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items
  • Acceptable driving record, according to company guidelines

Additional Information

  • Physical Demand: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Working Conditions: Shop environment
  • Shift Time/Overtime: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm + overtime (possible weekends as needed) or a current student with the ability to work 20-30 hours per week.
  • Travel: N/A
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
