The Valve
Technician will perform hands on maintenance, troubleshooting/assessment, and
repair work on valves (Block Valves, PSV / SRV, and / or pneumatic and electric
actuators) based on the associated skill level traveling to/from customer sites
and/or Industrial Service Solutions, LLC service center. Work will be primarily
based in the Eagle Ford Shale.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>- Interface
with customer plant personnel and Bay Valve Service personnel to perform
hands -on workshop and / or on -site valve troubleshooting / assessment,
maintenance, testing (pre / post), and / or repair of valves and
actuators.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Perform
PSV testing utilizing certified test equipment and complete all QA / QC
documentation as required by the VR program (if skilled).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Perform
hands -on workshop and / or on -site disassembly, inspection, reporting,
cleaning, and reassembly of valves and actuators. Machine material and /
or parts with various machining equipment.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Ensure
work and used materials follow manufacturer specifications.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Read
and interpret schematics for assembly, repair, and reassembly as required
including completion of applicable quality documentation in either paper
or electronic form.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Perform
failure assessments and make recommendations to the on -site Bay Valve
Service supervisor as required.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Perform
day to day and routine safety observations and inspections.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/p>
Qualifications<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>- High
School Diploma, and 2 years’ experience.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Good
interpersonal skills for daily interaction with customers and fellow
employees.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Understanding
of pressure and ability to service valves in a production environment.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Familiar
with NBIC, ANSI, and ASME codes and their applications.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Basic
understanding of P&IDs and the ability to read and interpret
maintenance and repair manuals for use in troubleshooting and repairing
mechanical assemblies.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Ability
to organize and prioritize workload to maximize efficiency.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Operational
experience in the oil and gas industry with respect to system operations,
prime movers, and associated valves.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Additional
mechanical skills include but not limited to machining and welding. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Strong
analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose systemic
problems.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Trained
and certified in the use of Aerial Work Platforms. <\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/li> - Ability
to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
