Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Pump Repair Technician to support daily warehouse operations, repair rod pumps, and provide excellent customer service. This role requires someone who is self-motivated, organized, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Job Description
- Manage and pull inventory as needed.
- Assemble, disassemble, inspect, and repair rod pumps.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including stocking materials and organizing inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Load and unload trucks delivering parts and pumps.
- Answer phones and assist customers in a professional manner.
- Deliver repaired pumps and parts to customer locations using a company vehicle.
- Operate computerized measuring equipment and follow manufacturing specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Skills Required
- Valid driver's license in the state of residence.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a company vehicle.
- Good driving record.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math and analytical skills.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand metalworking processes and computerized measuring equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing documents.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Prior experience with pump repair, mechanical assembly, or warehouse operations.
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or GED required.
Additional requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent use of hands for handling tools, equipment, and materials.
- Regular standing, walking, reaching, bending, and manual dexterity.
- Ability to meet vision requirements, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Regular ability to communicate effectively by talking and hearing.
- This is a safety-sensitive position and may be subject to employer and/or customer drug and alcohol testing.
Pay rate
- $22 per hour (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
