The parts made on our floor go into the systems that keep the grid running.We are hiring a Punch Press Operator to join our production floor. This is a hands-on, full-time position with a four-day work week, unlimited overtime available, and real opportunity to grow into set-up and higher-skill work for an operator who shows up and takes pride in the job.ScheduleMonday through Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (four-day work week - every Friday off)Unlimited overtime available for those who want itWhat You Will DoOperate punch presses ranging from 50 to 400 tonsAssemble and deburr partsRead and interpret basic printsUse calipers and other measuring tools to inspect your own workApply basic shop math, including fractions and decimalsRecognize proper machine function and report problems promptlyAssist with die set-ups on presses as neededWhat You NeedExperience with machine operation - punch press experience strongly preferredA steady work history, including tenure with at least one prior employerHigh school diploma or GEDAt least 18 years of age (federal law prohibits workers under 18 from operating power-driven metal forming machines)Ability to read, write, and communicate in English well enough to follow safety instructions, read prints and work orders, and document your own workAbility to bend, kneel, turn, and lift up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodationReliable transportation arranged prior to your start datePunctuality and reliability - these matter to us as much as skillLegally authorized to work in the United States. The company pays 75% of the premium; the remaining 25% is deducted weekly.Retirement: 401(k) program with a company match of 100% of your salary deferrals, up to the first 3% of your eligible compensation. Eligibility begins after six months of service.
