    The Punch Truck Operator is at the core of every installation of guardrail along American's roadways. 

    They set the pace of the crew, ensure each installation is safe and meets standards, and operates a piece of equipment like few others in the world. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Primary responsibility is running a drop hammer or vibratory post pounder, for the installation of guardrail.
    • Responsible for driving the Punch Truck to/from work sites
    • Responsible for supporting the layout, set-up of guardrail installation and working closely with the foreman and crew to ensure efficient work progress
    • Loading and unloading materials in support of the daily work
    • On occasion engaging in the use of power tools and manual digging when conditions are not conducive to use of the Punch Truck.

    Qualifications:

    • CDL Class A or the ability to obtain certification within the first 2 months of employment 
    • 2-5 Years of Heavy Equipment operation 
    • 2 years of commercial driving experience 
    • Strong understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic equipment  

    Nice to Have: 

    • Mechanic experience on hydraulic/pneumatic equipment 
    • Prior experience with Guardrail Installation 
    • Heavy Highway construction experience. 

    Compensation:

    $31 - $36/hour depending on qualifications and experience.
