Title: Punchout Crew Leader

Location: Field - Florida

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: ODC Construction is looking for a Punchout Crew Leader to manage the punchout team and oversee all finishing tasks to ensure construction projects are completed to specification. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. This position involves supervising crew members, performing punchout duties, and ensuring projects are ready for handover to clients.

Reports to: Director of Construction

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead and supervise the punchout crew, assigning tasks and ensuring all work is completed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Perform punchout duties, including drywall repairs, painting touch-ups, fixture installations, and general finishing work.
  • Inspect areas for defects or incomplete work and address or delegate tasks to resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure quality standards are met on all finishing work, including trim, flooring, hardware, and paint.
  • Coordinate with other departments or contractors to resolve any outstanding issues or finalize tasks.
  • Ensure that the crew follows safety protocols and maintains a safe work environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring that all tools, materials, and equipment are properly stored.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and other stakeholders regarding progress, issues, and project needs.
  • Review final punchout tasks with the project manager to confirm completion and readiness for client handover.
  • Assist in training and mentoring crew members, promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability.
  • Ensure that all punchout work complies with company policies, regulations, and client expectations.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

  • Tasks may include standing, walking, bending, and carrying up to 50 lbs., with or without a reasonable accommodation

  • This position requires the ability to work outdoors for extended periods in a variety of weather conditions, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
