We are seeking a motivated Purchaser for distributors of health, beauty and general household goods. As a purchaser, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Sourcing and Purchasing: Sourcing new products, negotiating with suppliers, and placing purchase orders.
- Sales Planning: Developing sales strategies, setting sales targets, and analyzing sales data.
- Market Analysis: Conducting market research and analyzing market trends to identify new opportunities.
- Product Development: Identifying and launching new products that meet market demands.
- Inventory Management: Overseeing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Sales Support: Providing sales support to the sales team, including training and product knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license
- PC skills (Microsoft Office)
- Japanese fluency required
- Long-term legal work authorization in the United States
- Experience in manufacturing, wholesaling, and/or retail (including e-commerce) is preferred, but not required
- Experience in digital marketing or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
