JSG is seeking a Purchasing Agent. Become a vital contributor to our supply chain efficiency! In this engaging role, you will be responsible for sourcing materials, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely procurement of all company-related supplies. Pay $30/hour

Required Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret material requirements from MRP systems
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities to request quotes and coordinate with suppliers
  • Ability to place purchase orders and verify acknowledgements accurately
  • Experience sourcing materials based on product descriptions
  • Proficient in managing relationships with suppliers and handling discrepancies or returns
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical specifications is a plus
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with inventory management software or ERP systems
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain principles
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • An associate degree or equivalent experience is a plus
  • Previous experience in purchasing or supply chain roles is highly desirable
