Overview
Responsible for sourcing equipment, goods, and services, and managing vendors.
Responsibilities
- Source, qualify, and audit suppliers of consumables for the Mill.
- Monitor inventories and forecast upcoming levels of demand to ensure steady and healthy flows.
- Analyze markets to assess and manage risks and opportunities.
- Work with operations to address any quality and delivery issues with suppliers.
- Assist accounting in monthly inventory audits.
- Assist operating departments with tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- 4 year college degree, preferably in Business Management, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or similar
- 5 - 8 Years of relevant work experience
- Relevant core competencies required: Effective negotiator, organized, project management and multi-tasking, applying practical analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
- Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional and proven verbal and written communication skills, with all levels of management.
