Join a well-established sugar refinery as a Purchasing Agent & Storeroom Supervisor, overseeing procurement, inventory management, and storeroom operations. In this key plant leadership role, you’ll ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials while supporting production and maintenance teams.
Reporting to the Purchasing Director, with a dotted line to the Maintenance Manager, this position calls for a detail-oriented, proactive leader who thrives in a hands-on environment.
Manage purchasing and inventory in SAP; track orders and ensure timely delivery
Supervise storeroom staff and maintain inventory accuracy
Coordinate with vendors, AP, and internal departments
Optimize stock levels, lead cycle counts, and enforce safety and compliance practices
Identify cost savings and drive process improvements
Bachelor’s degree preferred
2–3 years in purchasing or inventory management (early-career talent welcomed)
Strong SAP and Microsoft Office skills
Organized, communicative, and customer-focused
Leadership experience and safety knowledge a plus
