Pay Range:

$25.30 - $37.95

Job Summary: Supports delivery of patient care by purchasing and maintaining an optimum inventory level of supplies. Come be a part of a teamwork-focused atmosphere where we value life/work balance, open communication and strong patient and team member engagement!

What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2 years’ experience purchasing pharmaceuticals and supplies required
  • Surgical Services supply chain, Surgical Tech or Sterile Processing tech experience strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of computer systems required

Job Specific Duties

  • Order Supply Tasks
    • Manages the purchasing/receiving of drug/supply orders from the wholesaler/suppliers
    • Manages the computer system set up with the wholesaler
  • Discrepancy Control
    • Resolves purchase orders problems and billing errors when they occur
  • Billing Responsibilities
    • Manages the transfer expenses/billing
  • Price Accuracy
    • Maintains accurate prices in applicable computer system
  • Invoice Tasks
    • Accurately posts invoices within 5 days of receipt
  • Professionalism
    • Upholds a professional working relationship at all times and adheres to department rules
    • Practices teamwork and adheres to Standards of Behavior
  • Other Duties
    • Performs other duties as assigned by management
