Qualifications:
· 5 years plus experience in the construction industry preferred. Specifically, knowing about materials and supplies that you would be responsible for purchasing.
· Ability to read blueprints preferred.
· Basic accounting and job costing experience required.
· Needs communication, negotiation and problem solving skills.
· Knows how to use Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
· Experience with Sage Timberline is preferred but not required.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction, Operations or related is a plus.
· Salary based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors and equipment rental partners. Including negotiating and pricing analysis.
· Create, code, file and track all P.O.’s per job contract.
· Collaborate with Estimators and Superintendents to support job site objectives.
· Ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials, supplies, etc.
· Handle all UFPO’s required for job contracts.
· Write all subcontracts and associated requirements.
