Position Overview:


As a Purchasing Analyst, you will manage supplier activity for the Parts, Garments & Accessories business to support on-time product delivery to Polaris distribution facilities. You will coordinate closely with demand planning analysts to ensure appropriate purchase quantities are reviewed, ordered, and adjusted to support inventory and service level objectives. In this role, you will help manage purchase orders, supplier performance, backorders, and purchase order or invoicing discrepancies. This is a compelling opportunity to contribute directly to inventory performance and supplier execution within a large, cross-functional supply chain environment.


Key Responsibilities:


+ Manage supplier relationships to support consistent performance and on-time delivery to Polaris distribution facilities.


+ Review system-recommended purchase quantities andcollaboratewith demand planning analysts to improve purchasing accuracy.


+ Approve purchase orders,monitordelivery status, andexpediteorders as needed to support fill rate goals.


+ Resolve backorder issues in alignment with service level and customer supportobjectives.


+ Execute supplier cost and inventory reduction initiatives.


+ Negotiate cost, lead time, minimum order quantities, and economic order quantities to support businessobjectives.


+ Analyze and resolve supplier invoicing, purchase order, and related discrepancy issues.


+ Proactivelyidentifyand communicate urgentsupplier, delivery, orpurchasingissues to leadership.

Qualifications:


+ Bachelor’s degree.


+ Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience managing the purchase order lifecycle.


+ Strong aptitude for solving problems and improving processes.


+ Strong ability to negotiate and resolve conflict.


+ Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.


+ Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.


+ Ability to work in a hybrid environment.


+ Ability to travel up to 10%.


+ This position is not eligible for sponsorship.


The starting pay range for Minnesota is $64,550 to $84,750 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
