The Purchasing Assistant located in RTP, NC, manages procurement processes to ensure quality, timely delivery, and competitive pricing.
Responsibilities include developing supplier relationships, creating purchase orders, monitoring deliveries, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining procurement records within an ERP system.
Requirements include an Associate's degree or equivalent, 0-2 years of procurement experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred skills are ERP experience (especially D365), GMP environment familiarity, and knowledge of supplier risk management.
Reports to the Facilities Manager and supports operations in a GMP laboratory setting for large molecule and ATMP testing services.
