Purchasing Assistant ($22.00/HR)

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant for JBS in Lenoir, NC.

The ideal candidate will be very detail oriented and thrive on supporting a busy, fast-paced team. This role offers excellent growth potential!

• Stock Replenish
• Issue Supplies
• Open PO Report
• PORs
• Workflow
• GRIR
• J66 & J67 confirmations Email
• Price corrections
• Delivery Confirmations
• Requisitions
• Purchase Orders
• Delivery Calendar
• Inventory
• Stocking
• Part number creations
• Chemical requests
• Non-POs
• Any other thing as needed assisting
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: (pick applicable)

• Proficient Microsoft skills including outlook and excel
• SAP experience preferred
• Data entry experience
• Communication skills
• Soft skills
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Any other duties as assigned
